Tullahoma’s all-time leading scorer who helped take the Wildcats to the brink of a state title has been recognized as the best-of-the-best in the state as the Tennessee Sports Writers have voted Xavier Farrell All-State.
The honor comes a couple of weeks after Farrell played in the BCAT All-Star game and about a month after his squad made the state finals – a first for the Tullahoma Wildcats. Also making the All-Star list were a pair of players Farrell faced for the state title, Bronzden Chaffin and Ty Cobb, both of Upperman. Cobb, who is just a sophomore, was also named Mr. Basketball 3A this year. Taracous Stevens and Tacarien Freeman, both of Fayette-Ware also made the list. Farrell helped beat Fayette-Ware in the semi-finals to propel the Wildcats into the finals against Upperman.
Joining Farrell, Stevens and the Fayette-Ware and Upperman players in the Class of ’25 3A All-Stars are: Cade Capps, Stone Memorial, Sr., Trey Thompson, Greeneville, Jr., JaDyn Lee, Munford, Sr., Carey McClain, Kirby, Sr., Nick Steen, Fulton, So., Derrick Smith Jr., Fulton, Sr., Colin Brown, Tennessee High, Sr., Jackson Simmons, Unicoi County, Jr., and Michael Nwoye, Hume-Fogg, Sr.
