Trump’s six-month victories
President Donald Trump has achieved a string of major victories just six months into his second term, fulfilling many campaign promises and setting the tone for America’s comeback and next year’s 250th anniversary celebration.
At the center of his domestic agenda is the “Big Beautiful Bill,” a sweeping legislative package passed by the President’s hopeful July 4th deadline. The bill makes tax cuts permanent, eliminates taxes on tips and overtime, increases immigration enforcement funding, and secures the southern border. Since taking office, border crossings have dropped 93 percent compared to last year, and ZERO illegals released into the interior.
The economy continues to beat expectations. In June, 147,000 jobs were added and unemployment dropped to 4.1%. American-born workers gained 830,000 jobs, while foreign-born employment declined. Private sector jobs soared while federal jobs decreased. Inflation and gas prices hit 4-year lows. American energy has been unleashed.
Foreign policy wins include a peace deal between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a successful ceasefire with Iran following U.S. strikes. NATO members have agreed to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP, meeting long-standing U.S. demands. A huge reduction in fentanyl flow and deaths can be attributed to closed borders.
On trade, reciprocal tariffs declared on “Liberation Day” have led to multiple new trade deals, including one with Vietnam. Investment is pouring into the U.S., including $1.4 trillion from the UAE and $500 billion each from Apple, Oracle, and Saudi Arabia.
Trump also signed executive orders affirming two biological sexes and halted federal support for radical gender ideology. The administration did not celebrate Pride month, marking a cultural shift. Funding has been withheld from institutions still allowing biological men to participate in women’s sports.
Other key victories include the Laken Riley Act, the creation of “Alligator Alcatraz” to process illegal immigrants, reduced egg prices, record-breaking stock market performance, and regulatory wins in the courts. Trump has most definitely put “America First” back into action. Not bad in six months Mr. President… indeed a Golden Age for American is in focus!
