Body identified as Orlando resident
The body of a woman found near a Manchester hotel off Interstate 24 on July 14 has been identified as a resident of Orlando, Fla. who mysteriously went missing a short time before her body was found here over 600 miles away from her home.
The woman has been identified as Alicia Carnley and her death is being treated as a homicide by investigators. Her body was found near I-24 Truck and Auto Plaza. While investigators have not revealed a mode of death or if they believe she was murdered or died elsewhere and was placed in the location, the family of the deceased has taken to social media and has revealed Carnley had no association with middle Tennessee and had went missing shortly before her body was found in Manchester. One family member noted that Carnley fought with addiction problems but would normally talk to loved ones on a regular basis.
