Sloan Wiggs competes in Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant
Seven students or graduates from the University of Tennessee at Martin will take part in the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant, to be held July 23-26 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson. One of those contestants hails from Tullahoma.
Students and graduates from UT Martin competing in the pageant – with their current titles, hometowns, majors or UTM graduation years – are:
• Sloan Wiggs, Miss Queen City Volunteer, a 2025 graduate from Tullahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work.
• Maleia Bigham, Miss Shelby County Volunteer, a senior fine arts and performing arts major from Turtletown.
• Maggie McClendon, Miss Weakley County Volunteer, a May 2025 graduate from Clarksville with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
• Kayla Mick, Miss UT Martin Volunteer, a junior fine arts and performing arts major from Baxter.
• Molly Oswalt, Miss Carroll County Volunteer, a junior agricultural business major from Burlison.
• Meghan Poore, Miss TriStar Volunteer, a 2023 graduate from Medina with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.
• Sierra Smith, Miss Murfreesboro Volunteer, a graduate student in agriculture and natural resources systems management from Newland, North Carolina.
• Sloan Wiggs, Miss Queen City Volunteer, a 2025 graduate from Tullahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work.
The winner of the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant will compete in the Miss Volunteer America Pageant, to be held June 18-21, 2026, also at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson.
