Charles L. Liles of Estill Springs passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family at the age of 80.

Mr. Liles was born in Lawrenceburg to the late William and Ruthie Tittle Liles. During his life, Charles worked as a plumber for Liles Plumbing. He was a family man, who adored spending time with his loved ones above all else. His second biggest joy was playing music, primarily country, with his friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Liles was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Liles; and five sisters, Joyce Griffin, Lola Blackburn, Louise Stephenson, Edna Emery, and Charlene Liles.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Armstrong Liles; one son, Chuck Liles (Leisa); one daughter, Charlena Nobbman (Robert); four sisters, Ruby Bailiff, Ruth Pursley, Doris Bates, and Polly Stacey; three grandchildren, Jordan Scott, Lindsay Scott, and Charleigh Scott; one great-grandson Martin; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Byron Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at New Center Grove Cemetery in Franklin County.
