The Tullahoma Police Department recently celebrated the promotions of six officers.

The police department held the promotion ceremony on Wednesday, July 29, where the officers were joined by family, friends, their fellow officers from TPD and other local agencies, city officials and their co-workers.

The officers who received promotions within the department include:

• Sgt. Brooke Arthur, who was promoted to Lieutenant

• Cpl. Zach Weaver, who was promoted to Sergeant

• Cpl. Jose Maldonado, who was promoted to Sergeant

• Officer Travis Dickson, who was promoted to Corporal

• Officer James Hendry, who was promoted to Corporal

• Officer Justin Blackburn, who was promoted to Corporal

During the ceremony, Tullahoma Police Chief Chase Sons, Deputy Chief Jason Kennedy, Mayor Lynn Sebourn and City Administrator Jason Quick thanked the officers for their service to the Tullahoma community and invited the officers’ families to do the honors to pin their new rank.
