Ole Shed gets new home

After originating in a back yard shed in May of 2012, then 13 years on East Carroll Street, Ole Shed Brewing is moving to a much larger building on Montclair Street in the Tullahoma Industrial Park.
The 10,000 sq. ft. industrial-style building will be home to a family-friendly tap room, event space and brewery, according to Mike Thornburg, owner. Adjacent to the tap room will be a kids’ zone space.
Thornburg plans to open in the new location August 30.
The event space is approximately 3,600 sq. ft. and Thornburg plans to have TVs, golf simulators, and a sound system for bands. According to Thornburg, the event space will be available for birthdays, graduation and retirement parties.
The brewery equipment has been moved from the East Carroll Street and is operational. The brewery can produce 1,400+ gallons of beer monthly.
Ole Shed offers a line of craft beer including Pale Ales, IPAs, Porters, Blond Ale, Seltzers and Stouts. They also offer whiskey barrel aged beers.
“To enhance the weekend experience, Ole Shed will regularly host food trucks and live entertainment on select weekends, offering visitors a dynamic, ever-changing experience alongside their favorite craft beers,” according to Danae Greenwood, Marketing and Event Coordinator for Ole Shed.
Thornburg said, “Our plan is to offer a spot for people to visit and just have fun. We believe in the power of craft beer and its ability to bring people together and positively impact our community.”
