The final weeks of games were played in the Tullahoma Adult Baseball League. Here are the results from the last slate of games.

Royals vs Reds

The Royals beat the Reds in their second-to-last game of the season, winning 11-8.

Both teams were trading blows early in the contest, combining for a total of 12 runs in the first two innings. The Royals got the last laugh, however, after they built off their lead in the opening two frames by adding two runs in the third, making it a 9-5 game. This lead ended up being too much to overcome.

Some standout performers for the Royals in this contest were Clint Fanning, Jim Webster, and Jace Long. Fanning went 2-3 and had three RBIs. Webster did not get a hit on the night, but was effective in getting on the base paths, getting three walks in the bout. He also had two RBIs. Long pitched four out of five innings in the contest, and after giving up four runs, he settled in and shut down the Reds’ offensive attack. He allowed five hits and had two strikeouts in the contest.

The Reds ended up finishing middle of the pack in fourth place with an 8-5 record, and the Royals finished right below them in fifth with a record of 6-7.

Piñatas vs Shebvul Shovels

The Piñatas will be playing on a win streak going into the 2026 season, closing out their last game of the season with a “w” over the Shovels, winning 6-5.

The Piñatas were up against the wall in this matchup, trailing 5-1 after a five-run inning in the top of the second from the Shovels. In that inning, the Shovels had four walks and two singles. The Piñatas rallied in the bottom of the third, mirroring the Shovels with a five-run output of their own. In that frame, they got a crucial hit from Trevor Sanders. Sanders hit a double to right field that scored one run. Brady Nugent scored during the at-bat on a wild pitch. A lot of the overall runs scored in the game were from errors by both teams. In the 11 runs scored, there were just five hits.

The Piñatas in the final standings of the season are the number two-ranked team with a 9-3 record, and the Shovels finished in third place with a 9-4 record.
