Congrats to Retired USN Lamar Wilkie for the succinct, accurate and remedial lesson on OUR constitution and the “pesky” amendments.  I wish I could have summed it up as well as it was done.  The pledge most of us recite uses the words “and to the republic for which it stands, with liberty and justice for all” rings loud here.  I would like to add that “The road to hell is paved with good intentions”.  So, while the intent of bombing other country’s ships, rounding up people with the intent of border and drug control (which I view as a cruel joke), turning the federal government on its people, etc. without due process, tramples on the constitutional process which We the People did not grant to the federal government.
