Some big performers for Tullahoma in this matchup were junior Gabbi Gardner, sophomore Avanley Metcalf, and sophomore Adalyn Nelson. Gardner showed off her power in the game in warmups, which then carried over to the game. She led Tullahoma in kills with 11 against the Lady Red Raiders. Metcalf, who has had a number of big assist games throughout the season, picked up another one on Tuesday night, getting a team-high 31 in the match. Nelson, the promising second-year player, was extremely effective on her serve. She had a team-high 31 attempted serves in the game.
The Lady Wildcats, after losing to the Red Raiders, were quick to bounce back and secure a 3-0 win against Moore County on Wednesday night. Their record for the 2025 season now officially sits at 14-10.
