Local students graduate Georgia
The University of Georgia welcomed its newest alumni on May 7-8. A total of 9,477 students - 6,537 spring undergraduates and 1,055 expected summer undergraduates along with 1,885 graduate students - met requirements to participate in the university’s spring Commencement.

Remote Area Medical (RAM), the nation’s largest provider of free pop-up healthcare clinics delivering free dental, vision, and medical care, held their free clinic Winchester on June 6-7. The clinic at Franklin County High School served more than 245 patients. The value of care for the clinic was more than $200,000.
