American Rescue Plan Act dollars will be buying the city over $200K in machinery to replace outdated equipment and trucks.

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has released the updated 2026 Tims Ford Reservoir Land Management Plan (RLMP) along with the associated Environmental Assessment and is now available for review at tva.com/landplanreview. Tims Ford Reservoir is in Franklin and Moore counties in Middle Tennessee. The plan is fairly large, with 173 pages of text, charts, pictures, illustrations and detailed maps.

Partners for Healing is very pleased to announce Tori Murphree as the organization’s new Executive Director. A Tullahoma resident, Ms. Murphree is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience. Tori brings a well-rounded set of skills to the program. Her background includes clinical service, program management, staff supervision, community partnership development, and grant administration. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science from Lee University as well as Tennessee LCSW Licensure.
