Kim Childress wins Fuller Award
The Duck River Utility Commission has revealed that DRUC Laboratory Director Kim Childress was presented the George Warren Fuller Award for distinguished service to the water industry at the American Water Works Association Conference in Washington, DC. Ms. Childress was nominated for this prestigious award by the Kentucky-Tennessee Section of AWWA in 2025 and was presented with the award in our nation’s capital this past week. The national award was presented at the DC conference with tens of thousands of attendees from around the world including managers, engineers, operators, installers, maintenance personnel, government agencies, and regulators in the water supply industry.
