Retail sales dip slightly
Retail sales in Tullahoma in June, 2026 were down compared to June, 2025. Merchants collected 1.44% less in sales tax between the two months. The reporting of retail sales is one month behind as merchants have a month to report their sales.
Jefferson Street Park set for major upgrade
Major upgrades are coming to Jefferson Street Park after the board of mayor and aldermen Okayed the construction to begin The move by the city comes after Parks and Recreation Department was approached by members of the community last year to look into replacing the Jefferson Street Playground. The current playground built in 2011, is very small and weathered and does not offer popular amenities such as swings.
