BoMA passes budget in final reading
The Tullahoma Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BoMA) checked off the last reading of the budget for the upcoming fiscal year in its rescheduled meeting Monday, June 29, where it approved the certified tax rate and added funding to the Tullahoma Sports Council.
Dishon named airport manager
The City of Tullahoma has named Gavin Dishon as Airport Manager at Tullahoma Municipal Airport/William Northern Field, City Administrator Jeff Damron announced at the June 22nd Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting.
Mike Dent announces run for Tullahoma Alderman
Mike Dent has announced his candidacy for one of the Tullahoma alderman seats on the ballot for the Aug. 6 election. His announcement reads as follows: “I am a career public servant. Upon graduation from Purdue University with a degree in chemical engineering, I served 20 years as an Air Force officer in roles including a navigator and program management overseeing multi-milliondollar contracts. In 2008, my wife and I accepted civil service jobs at Arnold AFB. I am currently the Acting Chief of the Engineering Division.
