Pilgrimage Festival skipping 2026

The Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival will be taking a pause in 2026, according to an announcement from festival organizers.
The annual festival, which is normally held in September at the Park at Harlandale Farm in Franklin, held its 11th iteration in 2025, will take the year 2026 off and will make its return in 2027.
“The next Pilgrimage Festival will be happening in 2027,” organizers said in the announcement on March 25. “New sights, new sounds, new surprises! This move will allow us to bring you the best festival experience. We can’t wait to see you next year!”
A specific reason for the pause was not given by organizers. In the past few years, the festival had faced its own challenges, ranging from being canceled outright in 2020 due to COVID-19 to its fair share of getting rained out. However, the 2025 festival was all clear skies as attendees got to enjoy performances from acts like Maggie Rose, Father John Misty, Turnpike Troubadours, Grace Potter, Better Than Erza, Young the Giant, and the festival’s headliners Kings of Leon and John Mayer.
