Hope Thomas earns P.E.O. STAR Scholarship

Hope Thomas, daughter of Rebecca Thomas, is the 2026 recipient of the STAR Scholarship presented by P.E.O.
(Philanthropic Educational Opportunities). Hope is a senior at Tullahoma High School with a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society, DECA, HOSA, and the Student Council. Hope is also the team captain of the THS Varsity Tennis Team and was the first female player in 22 years to win a district title and advance to regionals.
After her graduation from THS, Hope plans to begin classes in the fall at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.
At MTSU she plans to major in Business Management with a minor in Business Analysis.
Recipients of the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship are young women who exhibit excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service and has the potential for future success.
P.E.O. is one of the largest community- based women’s organizations in North America with almost 200,000 active members and is committed to helping women achieve their educational goals.
The members of Chapter Z which covers seven counties including Coffee, Franklin, Bedford, and Moore are proud to recognize Hope Thomas as this year’s recipient of the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship.
