Mayes joins Baker and Cole

Alan Mayes has joined Baker and Cole Realty. Mayes has lived in Tullahoma for over two decades, along with his wife Deborah, a retired high school teacher. He’s a board member of the Historic Preservation Society of Tullahoma and a member of the Coffee County Historical Society, and a lifetime member of Nashville’s Lane Motor Museum. His professional memberships include the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and Tennessee Association of Realtors. Alan served as an engineer at General Motors for many years, and also owned a franchised motorcycle dealership. Most recently, he retired from the automotive publishing business as vice-president, managing editor, and advertising manager of two custom car magazines. He is the author of five non-fiction books and has contributed to several more, in addition to having freelanced for several vintage vehicle magazines. He was inducted into the National Hot Rod & Custom Car Hall of Fame in 2018 in the Journalist and Photographer category.

Alan’s successful background in engineering and publishing required great attention to detail, which serves his real estate clients extremely well. Balancing several projects at once comes as second nature.

“If you are looking to sell your home, land, or commercial property, be assured Alan has the ability to market your property properly, and he will represent you as seller’s agent with care and skill,” his announcement reads. “On the other hand, if you are looking for that dream home or commercial property for your business, he will represent you as a buyer’s agent with the same enthusiasm, care, and responsiveness. He specializes in relocation. Give Alan a call and let him help you find that special home you’ve always wanted or let him professionally market your property for sale. You’ll be happy to have him working in your corner.”
