AEDC VA250: The VA250 stock car will be on display at the Gossick Leadership Center at Arnold Air Force Base Sept. 10 from 3-7 p.m. The car will also be on display at the Hands-On Science Center in Tullahoma Sept. 11 from 1-6 p.m. Earlier this year, the VA250 stock car, built to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary, achieved a speed of 253 miles per hour, setting the stock car land speed record.
