Cassidy and Dakoda Haney, two dedicated sisters from Tullahoma, are making a meaningful impact for the nation’s veterans through a heartfelt fundraising effort. By crafting and selling beaded bracelets and gathering donations, the girls have raised a total of $361 to support veterans in their community.

The Friends of Short Springs hosted a workday on the morning of May 16. Under the supervision of Ranger Marlie Gibbs from Old Stone Fort State Park, 11 volunteers conducted repairs on the Collier-Horn Bridge and graded some sections of trail on the Laurel Loop Trail.

An expansion of the Tullahoma Veterans Affairs (VA) Clinic is nearing completion, boosting access to care for an additional 1,800 eligible patients, to include active duty Airmen.

Tullahoma helped to stamp out hunger this month as citizens donated nearly 3,100 pounds of food to local pantries for the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

The city has approved the purchase of 33 Axon body cameras for the Tullahoma Police Department at a price tag of $141,499.

United Way of South Central Tennessee invites the community to an evening of celebration, connection and impact at United in Spirits, presented by DOT Foods and Jack Daniel’s, scheduled for Saturday, June 13, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Jack Daniel’s BBQ Hill.

Friday night was a night of celebration at Wilkins Stadium as the Tullahoma High School (THS) and Tullahoma Virtual Academy (TVA) Class of 2026 walked the line to receive their diplomas. The commencement ceremonies saw 270 students from both THS and TVA receive their diplomas.
