Keith Eugene Newton, 54, of Decherd, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton after a brief hard battle of esophageal cancer.  Keith was born on Jan. 30, 1969, at Fort Jackson Military Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, to the late Horace L.  “Jim” Newton and Patricia J. “Trish” (Adams) Smith.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army, where he had been stationed at Hunter Armory Airfield in Savannah, Georgia.  Keith later became employed with Tech Tank, currently known as CST Storage, where he currently worked in the administrative department.  At the request of Keith there will be no formal services at this time.
