Wayne Darin Harrison, 56, of Lynchburg, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.  Darin was born on Dec. 29, 1966, in Franklin County to Wayne and Carolyn (Smith) Harrison. Visitation will be held at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Jack Hice and Roger Parks officiating. Interment will follow in Lynchburg Cemetery with Jared Harrison, Tim Kennamer, Mac Kidd, Dusty Rogers, Justin Grogan, Paul Bailey, Sloan Stewart, and Lane Millaway all serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Burton, Darryl Burton and his Brothers’ in Blue. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Darin Harrison scholarship fund at Jack Daniels Credit Union.
