Arlin Amos Davenport Jr. Obituary
Arlin Amos Davenport, Jr., 81, of Tullahoma passed this life on June 16, 2024. He served his country in the United States Navy and retired from Jack Daniel Distillery where he worked for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunting was his favorite outdoor activity. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlin A. Davenport Sr., and Ivadell Himes Davenport of Tullahoma, brothers, James Allen Davenport of Moore County and Alvin Ray Davenport of Moore County, sister Sandra Kay Bunn of Tullahoma.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Lemay Davenport of Tullahoma, son Michael Todd (Debbie) Davenport of Tullahoma, daughter Michelle (Charlie) Taylor of Manchester, two granddaughters, Kacy (Jeremiah) Kirk of Manchester, and Samantha (Graham) Reid of Nashville and 1 great grandchild Kolter Grey Kirk of Manchester. He is also survived by a brother, Clyde (Vicki) Davenport of Tullahoma, three sisters, Wilma (Buck) Early of Lynchburg, Joyce Bateman of Lynchburg, and Mary (George) of Tullahoma, sisters-in-law, Yvonne Davenport and Jane Davenport, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, June 23 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma with Pastor Mike Morris officiating.
