Emmie “Mildred” Lumpkins, 98, of Estill Springs passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 11, 1926, in Sumter, SC, Mildred was the daughter of Thomas and Hattie Hudson.

Visitation was held Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester with the funeral service following. Mildred was laid to rest at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN, on Monday, March 24, 2025, where she will be reunited with her husband for eternity.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her memory.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
