Janice Carol Butner, 74, of Decherd, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 13, 2025.  She was born in Coffee County on December 18, 1950, to the late Oscar Douglas and Doris Jean (Wooten) Butner. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10 – 11 a.m. in the Parish Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church. The Burial Liturgy following at 11:00am in the sanctuary of Trinity Episcopal Church. A reception will immediately take place after the service and burial will follow the reception at Monteagle Cemetery.
