Betty Jo Skidmore, 77, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, at Legacy Park Health and Rehabilitation after her courageous battle with cancer.  She was born in Frankfort, Germany on March 13, 1948, to the late Ret. Col. William Frank and Esther (Windhol) Skidmore. 

Visitation will be from 12-12:45 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.  Graveside Services will follow at 1 p.m. at Owens Chapel Cemetery. 

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
