Mildred Maury Kennerly was born on May 29, 1950, to the late Ruth Caroline Southern and John Kennerly Jr in Sewanee.  “Maury,” as she is known by her friends and family, departed this life on September 15, 2025, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, for her heavenly home. 

Visitation will be from noon-1:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at Watson Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at University Cemetery in Sewanee.

Watson Funeral Home and Memorial Park is in charge of arrangements.
