Roxy Ann Hoots, 79

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roxy Ann Hoots, who passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the age of 79.
Born on Sept. 17, 1946 in Spokane, Washington, Roxy was a dedicated professional and community member. She had a lifelong dedication to supporting both active military members and veterans. This commitment was deeply personal, as her husband was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, and her son, Rick, served as a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force. She spent many years managing Tullahoma Lanes and later worked at Traders National Bank (Wellworth Bank). Roxy was also a devoted president and longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 43.
She cherished her time spent traveling, as well as her daily walks with her dear friend, Mrs. Nancy Fuller. Roxy was preceded in death by her parents, Vivian and Murray Siner, and her husband, James Lowell Hoots.
She is survived by her daughter, Robyn (John) LaCook; her sons, Richard (Melony) Hoots and Terry (Tina) Hoots; four grandchildren, Tiffany (Chris) Richards, Taylor (Douglas) Carson, Justin (Jennifer) Henson, and Bracken Henson; three great-grandchildren, Walker Richards, Cooper Richards, and Hudson Henson; and her brothers, Danny and David Siner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 3, at 11 a.m. in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 43. Donations are payable to American Legion Auxiliary Post 43. Mail to 13 Hiles Street Box 15, Lynchburg, Tennessee 37352.
