Bertie Mae Davis, 95

Bertie Mae Davis, 95, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1930, in Harvest, Alabama, to her late parents, Harvey Lee Robison and Clator Ola Butler Robison.
Bertie was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Nannie Bell Robison, Harvey Lee Robison Jr., Alvin Vernon Robison, Virgie Oleene Robison, Helen Ruth Robison, Doris Jean Robison, Sarah Francis Robison, James Dexter Robison, Delmer Warren Robison, and Kenneth Ray Robison, her beloved son, Jesse Larry Davis, and her loving husband Jesse Edgar Davis Jr.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Susan Jordan (Bradford) of Amelia Island, FL, and Kathy Y. Wimberley of Tullahoma, TN; and her cherished granddaughter, Paula Driver (Isaac) of Noblesville, IN. Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved them deeply.
Bertie was valedictorian of her graduating class at Monrovia High School, a testament to her dedication and strong character. She was a faithful and active member of Highland Baptist Church, where she also worked as a cook for the children’s classes. She was dearly loved by the children and congregation alike.
She enjoyed spending time with her many friends at the Coffee County Senior Citizens Center, where she formed lasting friendships and shared many joyful moments.
Bertie will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to her faith, and the love she showed to her family, church, and community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The Funeral service was held Monday at Tullahoma Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Norman officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.
