Stanley Lynn Downs, of Tullahoma, unexpectedly passed this life on Thursday, June 25th, 2026 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 74. Stanley was born in Tullahoma to the late James and Alma Blanton Downs. During his life, he worked as a lead pump operator at AEDC. After his retirement from AEDC, Stanley worked as a full-time farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Nelson, Dana, and Dale Downs. Stanley is survived by his wife, Gretchen Downs; one daughter, Jessica Downs and her wife Kelsey; one son, Jay Downs ___________________________________________________ – ___________________________________________________ mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Malcom Turner; and special cousin, Jeannette Bell.
