The Power of Lies

Many countries, and some U.S. states, have laws against lying in politics. It’s illegal to lie to Congress under oath, but it’s not illegal for an elected Congressman to lie to you. It’s not illegal for POTUS to lie to the world. With the unfolding of Project 2025’s plan to destroy American democracy and establish authoritarianism, lying (like disinformation) has become a communications power wielded by Draco-II and his party (NOTE: there is no conservative party anymore called Republican; faux-king Draco-II rules HIS party). Lying is just one avenue of destruction in the Project 2025 playbook: you should read it: it’s a lie when one group gets to define reality.

Citizens are disgusted when politicians lie to them and then nothing happens to the liar. Draco-II told over 30,000 documented lies in his first administration, and he continues the pace in his second: they’ve become more nuanced, more sophisticated, harder to discern from reality: He and his sycophants are learning. Enough citizens fell for the lies during the 2024 presidential campaign to re-elect Draco-II to a second term. Think about that: a person whose current approval rating is 34%, using the power of the lie, was able to fool enough of the public to get re-elected POTUS.

Think of all the lies it took to pull off the DOGE/ Musk federal agency destructions, to establish a private army called ICE, to start a war with Iran, to destroy government accountability by firing federal inspectors general, to destroy environmental regulations, to ensure the preventable COVID deaths of over 400,000 Americans, to purge top military, to justify giving benefits to the rich and powerful while hanging the poor and needy out to dry, to enrich himself, his family, and his businesses with insider trading (making over 3,700 stock trades since he became president) and other nefarious and dubious financial “deals”, doubling his net worth to $7.8B. That is the “art of the lie”: many are about those Draco-II calls liars, traitors, extremists, supposed enemies of the people, like me; declaring everything an emergency is itself a lie.

The Draco-II administration is the ultimate in corruption. The American federal government is being run as a mafia organized crime group with Draco-II as mob boss. If you are loyal to the boss, you get benefits. If you cross him, bad things are going to happen to you. Mob boss Al Capone was eventually brought to justice via the IRS, but the illegal $1.8B loyalist/insurrectionist slush fund Draco-II NEGOTIATED WITH HIMSELF was just amended by acting DOJ Director and Draco-II ex-personal lawyer Todd Blanche to say that Draco-II, his family, and businesses could never be audited by the IRS giving the family empire a get-out-of-jail-free-card forever! Unbelievable corruption!!

America has had corruption in politics before. But, Draco-II is openly and brazenly exploding any previous level of corruption in American political history. It’s not fair, it’s not democratic; the push for fascism/authoritarianism/ oligarchy must be stopped. No MAGA! No lies!
