Don’t let others tell you how to vote
Regarding several letters published in this column, I would like to say this about the upcoming mid-term elections: DON’T LET OTHERS TELL YOU HOW TO VOTE! It is a privilege and registered voters have the right to vote their conscience. Please do your research to choose your candidate carefully. Your vote does make a difference.
Not everyone is happy with the current administration, I get it. I was not happy with the Biden administration either so when election time rolled around, I voted my candidate. It was not Joe Biden. The man was out of touch and who knows who was really pulling the strings behind the scenes. However, I did not just go on and on publicly bad-mouthing his administration. It was a waste of time. I knew there would be another election and I would be voting again.
Please make your choice after carefully researching candidates. Just having someone tell you “to vote straight Democrat” is wasting your vote. We are smarter than that.
