I want to compliment The Tullahoma News for printing the letters of Bob Bates on a regular basis. In the heart of “Red State America”, you must be bombarded with negative phone calls, emails, etc. on a daily basis for printing them. One might not agree with Mr. Bates’ conclusions but I defy anyone to find that he misstates the facts!

Usually, Mr. Bates has to share the page with the thoughts of columnist Ron Hart. Mr. Hart claims to be a humorist, but the jokes on us! In his latest column, he claims the “Deep State” is still at work. People here illegally can be rounded up by the thousands but the “Deep State” seems to be as elusive as ever! I’ve heard about these miscreants for years! And they’re still running around loose? President Trump has controlled all three branches of the federal government for the last 21 months and they haven’t caught the first one of these critters?

I say oil up the guillotine and the first “Deep Stater” that’s caught, it’s “Off with their Head”! That just might make the rest of them stop misbehaving!
