Tullahoma XC have huge turnout for runner assessments

The Tullahoma Middle and High School XC programs recently held their runner assessments, and over 40 students came out for them.

Another budding successful program in Tullahoma over the last few years, both at the middle school and high school level, has been Tullahoma XC. They again had a successful season in 2025.

The high school boys’ team had a strong showing of runners at the 2025 state meet. Their best placement at the event came from Wyatt Dorsett, who placed 43rd out of 193 runners. The girls’ team also represented Tullahoma at state well, with their best placement coming from KG Nichols. She finished in 28th place out of a total of 176 runners.

On the middle school side of things, both the girls’ and boys’ teams also made it to state. Ashleigh Johnson for the girls’ team had the highest placement. She placed 34th out of 138 runner field. Lincoln Price had the highest placement for the boys’ team, placing 39th out of 137 runners.

Moments like these began to get made long before the season actually starts. It starts now. It is good to see so many Wildcat runners willing to show up and put some work in during the offseason before their school seasons officially kicks off in mid-August.
