James (Jim) Reynolds Gattis passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at his home in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, with his wife, Donna, by his side.  Jim was born on June 24, 1947, in Winchester to the late Frank and Nell (Dickerson) Gattis. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home with Ben Watson officiating.  Interment will follow at Watson Memorial Park. Cole Johnson, Sonny Gattis, Ken Jacobsen, Tyler Henley, Mike Painter, and Sterling Hubbard to serve as pallbearers.

Watson Funeral Home and Memorial Park is in charge of arrangements.
