Slayyyter came to party, and Nashville did not disappoint when the singer brought her WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA Tour to a sold-out Brooklyn Bowl in Music City.
The pop singer was originally supposed to perform at The Basement East. However, after ticket sales went incredibly quickly, the show was moved to Brooklyn Bowl to accommodate the ticket demand. The crowd members themselves were dressed up and ready to party. Though looking fashionable, the Nashville crowd was not fashionably late; even before the doors opened, the line wrapped around the block, and fans waited to make sure they got their spots near the stage.
Slayyyter has quickly grown her popularity and has had a massive last two years. In 2025, she joined Kesha on her North American tour, which garnered her several new fans. Earlier this year, though, she put out her critically acclaimed album “WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA,” which allowed her to become a household name.
Crowd members had to wait a little time before the party got rolling when it came time for Slayyyter to take the stage. As her backing band took their spots, the opening notes of Slayyyter’s massive single “DANCE…” made their way through the speakers, and the audience went wild, cheering excitedly.
Slayyyter’s stage was brilliant as well, resembling a Midwestern home, complete with the plastic lawn chairs, cooler, and overgrown plants that lined the house, as well as the front portion of the Brooklyn Bowl stage. As the opening notes of “DANCE…” came on, the front door opened, and the singer emerged, wearing a big smile, as she soaked in the cheers from the Nashville crowd.
Another set piece came into play: just outside the front door of the home stood a life-sized carousel horse. Midway through her set, she hopped on – and later stood on – the carousel horse during her song “CANNIBALISM.” During the track, purple lights and bubbles filled the room, helping to set the mood for the performance.
Slayyyter made sure to play all the fan favorites in Music City, but there were also unexpected songs on the setlist, including at least one cover. Nearing the end of her set, the singer performed her version of Turnstile’s “BIRDS,” which was a welcome addition to the performance, especially for fans of both Turnstile and Slayyter. It also further highlighted why Slayyyter is considered a genre-blending artist.
After the party had ended and the Nashville crowd was exiting, there were plenty of smiles, and even some happy tears. What was clear from Slayyyter’s performance is that she is destined for stardom. While she performed at Brooklyn Bowl on this tour run, it’s not hard to imagine that she could be selling out arenas in the near future, and if Nashville has its way, that show will also be sold out.
