James Richard Walker, 69, passed peacefully on June 28, 2026. Born to James and Madge Tripp Walker in Moore County, he resided in Tullahoma for many years. Funeral services will be on Wednesday July 1st at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Lynchburg Funeral Home.

Left to cherish his memory are his life partner and best friend, Debbie Winton; son, Josh Winton; daughters, Jennifer (Jared) Prosser and Sheleah (Zach) Fannon; grandchildren, Katelyn Winton, Taylor (Dakota) Hill, Justin Mines, Jr., Jayson Mines, Eli Fannon, and Easton Fannon; great grandchildren, Zoey and Violet Hill. Also surviving are sisters, Brenda (Jim) Ramsey, Debbie (Silvia) Walker and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Elbert Tripp Walker and Charles Baker; sisters, Emily Walker, Dorothy Baker Shelton, and Barbara Baker Sisk; as well as nephews, Michael Baker and Jacob Sisk. Ever a prankster and possessed of a quick wit and a wicked sense of humor, James also leaves behind several good friends.
