With sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Mary Jane (Shetters) Johnson, 95, at her home in Winchester on March 29, 2026, with family members at her side. She was born Dec. 21, 1930, in Sherwood to Elijah and Nancy (Simmons) Shetters, (deceased).

A celebration of life service was held Monday, April 6, 2026, in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Pastors Ray Gardner and Johnny Mayes officiating. Interment followed at Cowan-Montgomery Cemetery.
