Tullahoma Test Pilots’ debut game is about to land

It is an extremely exciting time to be a sports fan in Tullahoma, with the city soon to debut a new baseball team, the Tullahoma Test Pilots.
The Test Pilots are one of five teams in a new baseball league in 2026, called the Volunteer State League. The four other teams are the Gallatin Longhunters, Columbia Jumpin’ Jacks, Cookeville Flyin’ Frogs, and Pulaski Pop Tops. All teams are within two hours’ driving distance of the Nashville Area.
The Volunteer State League is a summer wood-bat league that is made up of all college players. They are an expansion of The Players’ League, who were founded in 2023.
The Players’ League is essentially the overseer and organizer for the Volunteer State League and other wood bat leagues they have in other states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Texas.
“The Volunteer State League is committed to providing an exciting platform for emerging talent to showcase their skills and passion for the game while fostering a love for baseball within the local community. We are dedicated to upholding the spirit of sportsmanship and creating unforgettable experiences for players and fans alike,” stated on the official website of the Volunteer League, www.volunteerstateleague.com, giving insight into what the Volunteer State League is all about.
