Editor’s Note: The following Letter to the Editor was submitted by students at Tullahoma High School as a project to write a professional letter. This letter refers to the story “LivSmart Studios holds opening gala.”

My opinion is that the extended stay version of the hotel is a good addition to our town. In fact, it may bring more business to the company and also bring more companies here in the future. Second, I think that the hotels are coming to be a few too many here in Tullahoma. I believe that hotels should not be made in all places. I believe that they should have a limited area for hotels and use the other areas for more useful businesses. Mostly because they are taking most of the landscape away and all of the nature people in Tullahoma have known for a very long time.

The extended stay hotel does do good for the people that stay there because there is a full kitchen with cookware, a fitness gym with peloton equipment. Granted the extended Stay LivSmart Studios will do good for the people that are staying there due to the access to the gym. The amount of resources that it takes to build and finish and put all or the accessories in one hurts the environment. The company that is over LivSmart Studios has over 6,000 hotels all across America. The good thing that the extended stay hotel creates is it houses travel nurses, construction workers, etc., and so they don’t have to worry about where to stay when they are traveling for work or doing work somewhere away from home.
