Gavin Dishon steers Tullahoma Airport toward growth
Ever since his sister started taking him with her to watch while she worked, Gavin Dishon has been closely tied to the Tullahoma Airport since he was 10. Now, 11 years later, he is the airport director. He started his career as an Airport Service Specialist, doing general line service work such as fueling, towing aircraft, and assisting pilots in need. He then climbed up to Interim Assistant Airport Manager. With five years of hands-on experience at the Tullahoma Airport, he has built extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, daily airfield operations, and staff development.
Tullahoma joins the Certified Tennessee Downtowns Program
Tullahoma will become part of the Certified Tennessee Downtowns Program as the city board voted to move forward with the initiative. The board voted unanimously to join the program.
