The Tullahoma High School football team is preparing for its season opener against Shelbyville Central on Aug 21. In doing so, they scrimmaged Fayetteville High School recently and walked away with a 32-15 win.

Test Pilots end regular season on 12-game win streak
The Tullahoma Test Pilots have been the best team in the Volunteer Baseball League for the whole month of July. They have won 12 straight regular-season games, with their latest two regularseason wins coming against the Cookeville Flying Frogs, where they won 12-9, and against the Columbia Jumpin’ Jacks, where they won 166. Tullahoma also opened up their postseason with an 18-3 win against Cookeville.

Lee named new THS baseball coach
Tullahoma City Schools has announced that Logan Lee has been hired as the new baseball coach and a math teacher at Tullahoma High School.

Virkhaus wins tennis award
Vie Virkhaus, member of SAS’s class of 2026 and district singles’ champion in Tennessee, has been recognized for her “exemplary character and sportsmanship in athletics” with the Award of Excellence for Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity, given jointly by the TSSAA and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).
