Tullahoma City Schools has announced that Logan Lee has been hired as the new baseball coach and a math teacher at Tullahoma High School.
Virkhaus wins tennis award
Vie Virkhaus, member of SAS’s class of 2026 and district singles’ champion in Tennessee, has been recognized for her “exemplary character and sportsmanship in athletics” with the Award of Excellence for Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity, given jointly by the TSSAA and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).

The Tullahoma Test Pilots have been on a tear of late. They have won their last nine games in a row, with their two latest victories both coming against the Cookeville Flying Frogs by scores of 7-1 and 12-2.

2027 seniors in the spotlight: Jackson Knight
The Tullahoma High School basketball team reached the state tournament for the second straight time in the 2025-2026 season. They were able to make it to the Glass House in Murfreesboro with some of the same big contributors on their first run, along with a mix of new players who played massive roles in their most recent trip. One of those players was rising senior Jackson Knight, and he should be one of the key players for Tullahoma when they take the floor next year.
THS football unveils new uniforms
The Tullahoma High School football team will be sporting new uniforms for the 2026 season, which is now less than 40 days away. Their new jerseys feature a minor tweak that has a big meaning.
