Live on the Lawn returns May 22

The GFWC Centennial Woman’s Club of Tullahoma will be holding its sixth annual “Live on the Lawn” fundraiser on Friday, May 22, from 6 – 9 p.m. “Enjoy a concert on the lawn featuring the band, A Slice of American Pie, who will be performing on the patio stage at South Jackson Performing Arts Center,” GFWC representatives said. “ This year’s event will feature a tribute to America’s 250th Birthday.”
Admission includes a souvenir picnic bag, box dinner and beverage ticket. The meal comes with a choice of a chicken salad wrap or a club sandwich, two sides and a dessert. Additional wine, beer or soft drinks will be available for sale and there will be a small live auction. Please bring your own lawn chairs. If it rains, the event will take place indoors. Tickets are 2/$100 or 1/$55. Advanced ticket sales only. Tickets are on sale through May 19 and can be purchased through any club member or at Weichert Realty, Joe Orr and Associates.
The fundraiser will benefit Shepherd’s House, Coffee County Imagination Library and other local charities. Shepherd’s House is a homeless shelter in Tullahoma for women and children. They provide food and shelter, assist with job placement, housing applications, transportation and more. Imagination Library provides books to all Coffee County children from birth to 5 years old at no cost to the families.
The band, A Slice of American Pie plays classic rock and some country from favorite artists like Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles, the Eagles and many more. They have performed at many venues including: Hanks Honky Tonk in Murfreesboro, TN, Hard Dock Cafe at Tims Ford Lake, Ole Shed Brewing Company, and more. Relax and enjoy the entertainment.
