Chassity Harris announces run for Coffee County Clerk

Chassity Harris has announced her candidacy for the office of Coffee County Clerk. Her announcement reads as follows:
“Greetings friends and neighbors. I’m Chassity Harris, and I’m proud and honored to announce my candidacy for Coffee County Clerk.
“Let me tell you a little about myself. My husband Charley and I have raised our children, Ethan and Keely, in the Rutledge Falls community, where Charley’s family has lived for generations. We work here, we worship here, and we raised our family here. Coffee County is home.
“For more than five years, I’ve served the people of this county from inside the Clerk’s office. I’m not asking you to imagine how I’d do this job – I’m already doing it. When you renew your tags, registar a boat, get a business license, or apply to be a notary, I’m one of the people on the other side of that counter, making sure it gets done right. To me this work isn’t just a job- its a calling and I would be honored to keep serving you as the next county clerk.
“That experience has taught me what this office is really about. It’s not paperwork. It’s people. So my platform is simple, and it’s built on three promises.
“First – service. Every person who walks in gets treated like a neighbor. Friendly, patient, and helpful, every time.
“Second – your time. I’ll keep working to shorten the wait and add more convenient ways to get things done, so a quick errand stays a quick errand.
“Third – doing it right. I’ll keep our team trained and current on state requirements, and I’ll be a careful steward of this office and the tax dollars that run it.
“To me, this work isn’t just a job-it’s a calling. I humbly ask for your vote on August 6th. Thank you and God bless you and God bless Coffee County.
“I will be hosting a meet and greet on July 17th, starting at 5:00 PM at the Administration Plaza Community Room, located at 1329 McArthur St., Manchester, TN 37355.”
