HOSC invites community for trivia night

Think you have what it takes to outsmart some of the brightest young minds in the region? The Hands-On Science Center is inviting local businesses, organizations, and community members to put their knowledge to the test at its exciting fundraising event, “Are You Smarter Than a Science Camper?” on Saturday, July 18, from 6 to 9 p.m.

This one-of-a-kind trivia competition pairs eight-person company teams against the Hands-On Science Center’s talented science campers in an evening filled with laughter, teamwork, and brain-teasing challenges. It’s a chance for businesses to support science education while enjoying a memorable night of friendly competition.

For $500 per table, participating teams of up to eight people will receive:

• A catered dinner

• Complimentary childcare during the event

• An unforgettable trivia experience while supporting the Hands-On Science Center’s educational programs “Whether your team is made up of science buffs, trivia champions, or simply enthusiastic supporters of STEM education, everyone is encouraged to join the fun,” HOSC officials said. “Bragging rights are on the line—but don’t underestimate the campers!”

All proceeds from the event will help the Hands-On Science Center continue providing engaging, hands-on science experiences that inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning for children throughout the community.
