When will DG on West Lincoln reopen?

The Dollar General on West Lincoln will remain temporarily closed for the foreseeable future following its closure in late July due to a fire in one of the coolers.
According to the Tullahoma Fire Department, a crew responded to a call from the store, located at 214 W. Lincoln St., on Saturday, July 26, about a malfunction in one of the coolers that caused a fire. Once they arrived, the fire had already been put out by one of the employees with a fire extinguisher. The firemen then checked the breaker system and the facility for further damage. After seeing no other damage, the firemen turned the property back over to the assistant manager of the store.
Since the fire, the store had remained closed with the sign stating it would be closed “for up to six weeks” due to the fire. However, the store has not reopened.
The News
reached out to Dollar General regarding the store’s status and received the following statement from Dollar General’s Public Relations office.
“Dollar General’s store located at 214 West Lincoln Street in Tullahoma, Tennessee, is currently temporarily closed and plans to reopen within the coming months to continue serving Coffee County residents. Please understand that construction progress may alter this timeline.”
The statement continued and said, “We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause our customers and, in the meantime, welcome them to visit our additional Tullahoma area stores.”
