Arthur William “Rabbit” Syler, age 71 of Belvidere, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on Feb. 5, 1955.

. Visitation was held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment followed at Belvidere Cemetery with Mark Bartell, Greg Mayo, Travis Boswell, Tyler Boswell, Trenton Boswell, and Russell Williams serving as pallbearers.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
