Callie Mai Allen of Normandy passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026 at NHC – Tullahoma at the age of 102. Mrs. Allen was born in Shelbyville to the late Henry Mitchell and Callie Mai McLauglin Bartlett. During her life, Callie was a member of First Baptist Church of Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Allen; one sister, Pauline Roberts; and one brother, Robert Bartlett. Mrs. Allen is survived by her daughter, Betty Burford; two grandchildren, Tara Hatchell and Tyrus Burford (Cristal); and three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner, and Harlan.

Visitation for Mrs. Allen was held on Tuesday, April 14, at Kilgore Funeral Home. A graveside service followed at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville with Rev. Marty Nutter officiating. Kilgore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Tullahoma News – April 15, 2026
