Billy Hulen Sherrill, age 72 of Decherd, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, March 31, 2026, at Saint Thomas West Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Upon his request, there will be no viewing or funeral services. Growing up, Heather went for many big truck rides. So, Randall and Heather will take PAPA on his final “Big Truck Ride” in one of his prized big trucks from Moore Cortner Funeral Home to Gum Creek Cemetery. The date and time will be announced when they become available.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
