Carl Keeton Jr. of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at the age of 89 years.

A native of Coffee County, he is the son of the late William Carlos and May Saunders Keeton. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Freeda Keeton in 2021, son, Bryan Keeton in 2020, brother, Mickey Keeton, and sisters, Corrine Waley and Lillian Gerdom.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Daves- Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee where upon completion, we will travel to the cemetery for the graveside service.

Mr. Keeton is a member of the College Street Baptist Church in Tullahoma, Tennessee. He also served in the United States Air Force, and we owe him a great debt of gratitude for his service. He was a football fan, especially the Tennessee Vols and the local Tullahoma High School. He also enjoyed baseball and at one time thought about the pros until an injury made him change his plans. He was a photographer at AEDC for 40 years and loved taking pictures. Carl was big-hearted and was always helping others. He was a good man with a good work ethic and was kind and fair to those around him.

His survivors include his children, Joseph Keeton of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Vickie Keeton of Tullahoma, Tennessee, grandson, Jeremy (Sabrina) Keeton of Morrison, Tennessee, great grandchildren, Jerrick McKnight of Beechgrove, Tennessee, Vera (Damian) Hernandez of McMinnville, Tennessee and one great great grandchild, Harper Hernandez also of McMinnville, Tennessee.
